Safe zone – keep faces & key details inside
The KIXI photo patch is a velcro panel on the side of the shoe. Anything near the outer edge of your uploaded photo sits closer to the boundary, so keep the important part of your image within the shaded safe zone.
TIP: keep faces, logos or text inside the green box – never right at the edge.

All four friends sit inside the safe zone with even space around them.

Too zoomed in
Faces are too big for the frame – foreheads and shoulders get cut by the panel edge.

Parts of your image will be cut off if your crop isn't within the safe zone.

A stretched image will look distorted when placed on the side of the shoe.
How to place your photo
Four steps to a great fit
Upload your photo
Choose a clear, well-lit photo. Higher resolution originals give the sharpest print on the shoe panel.
Frame it in the crop tool
Drag the corners to set the 1.8:1 frame, then position the photo so faces sit near the center crosshair – not touching the edges.
Check the shoe preview
Rotate the 3D preview and confirm faces and key details land inside the safe zone – not in the corners.
Confirm & order
Happy with the preview? Confirm your design and it's sent straight to production.
